Ropes with Polyester: YSM-GRAND / SUPER FLEX
"Rope for demanding users"
Advanced
manufacturing processes allowed us to reinforce our ropes with outer
strand yarns made from high quality polyester. As a result, we can
offer high tenacity YSM-GRAND ropes with exceptional
strength-to-price ratio. Controlled stretch and higher abrasion
resistance makes it a perfect rope not only for mooring hawsers but
also mooring tails or tug stretchers and springs. Combining all advantages of mixed
polyolefin ropes with higher strength, those ropes are also UV and oil
resistant.

We
are gradually increasing our stock with Mixed Polyolefin Ropes with Polyester fully
complaint with: DNV class programme DNV-CP-0100 – Type approval
– Synthetic fibre ropes for towing, mooring and anchoring, EN ISO 10556:2009 "Fibre ropes of polyester/polyolefin dual fibres", OCIMF Mooring Equipment
Guidelines (MEG4), Fourth Edition 2018 [test requirements] and OCIMF
Guidelines for the Purchasing and Testing of SPM Hawsers (2000). Ropes
under name SUPER FLEX are available with issued by production MEG4 form
Mooring Line Certificate and Mooring Line Base Design Certificate
approved by DNV-GL.
LDBF value is clearly presented on Mooring Line Certificate which makes
it easier to verify if correct rope has been selected according to IMO
SOLAS MSC.1/Circ.1619.

according to EN ISO 10556, tested according EN ISO 2307. Presented MBL
values are measured without eye splices, LDBF is value after reduction
on splice. Length measured with
reference tension according EN ISO 9554.
