Our Mixed Polyolefin / Polysteel
Ropes are manufactured from high quality mixed polyolefins, melt blend
of PP, PE and additives. These ropes combine all advantages of
polypropylene with higher strength and better abrasion resistance. They
are more UV resistant and can work in alkalis, acids and oil
environments. YSM-SOLID is a
perfect choice for mooring hawser for all type of vessels.

10572:2009 "Mixed polyolefin fibre ropes", OCIMF Mooring Equipment
Guidelines (MEG4), Fourth Edition 2018 [test requirements] and OCIMF
Guidelines for the Purchasing and Testing of SPM Hawsers (2000). Offered ropes can be delivered with issued by production MEG4 form
Mooring Line Certificate and Mooring Line Base Design Certificate
approved by DNV-GL.
LDBF value is clearly presented on Mooring Line Certificate which makes
it easier to verify if correct rope has been selected according to IMO
SOLAS MSC.1/Circ.1619.

values are measured without eye splices, LDBF is value after reduction
on splice. Length measured with
reference tension according EN ISO 9554.
